The 37th FAI World Gliding Championships for Standard, 15m and Club Class gliders is a Class1 International Aviation Sporting Event sanctioned by the FAI and Gliding Australia. An aviation racing event in which highly sophisticated unpowered sailplanes (gliders) race each day around a specified course which varies each day. The winners are the gliders that fly the course in the shortest time and the highest speed.
